  • Nursing (2 Positions)

    Job Description

  • Teach and assess courses in the discipline at both undergraduate and postgraduate level
  • Supervise undergraduate projects and other experiential learning programmes
  • Supervise dissertations/theses at graduate level.
  • Participate in the development of undergraduate and postgraduate courses
  • Initiate, promote and participate in research projects
  • Provide professional and community services and initiate linkages and fundraising.
  • Carry out administrative and other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned

    Job Specification

  • Earned PhD or equivalent degree qualification in the relevant field from an credited and recognized University; and be registered or registrable with the relevant professional body OR A master’s degree in the relevant field from an accredited and recognized University (in special cases) with at least three (3) years teaching experience at University level or in research or in industry: and
  • A minimum of 24 publication points of which at least sixteen (16) should be from refereed journal papers; and
  • Registered with the relevant professional body;
  • For Nursing Lecturers candidates must have a valid practice license from the Nursing
    Council
    of Kenya.
