Kampala Capital City Authority Deputy Director Strategy Management and Business Development Jobs in Uganda

Minimum Qualification

Economics; or any other related field plus a Master’s Degree in any of the above fields from a recognized University / Institution. Applicant should be in possession of specialized training in Project Planning and Implementation.

Applicants should be in possession of a Post Graduate qualification in Management or any other related field from a recognized University / Institution.

Working Experience

Applicants should have a minimum of nine (9) years working experience, three (3)of which should have been gained at Assistant Commissioner or Head of Department level in Government or from a reputable organization.

Duties

The incumbent will be responsible to the Deputy Executive Director for performing the following duties:-

Developing and monitoring the implementation of projects under KCCA in line with Authority mandate and strategic objectives.

Developing project proposals and Solicit for funding in line with KCCA mandate and strategic objectives

Designing and monitoring the implementation of procedures and tools for project execution and management in line with the project requirement.

Defining project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and applicable

stakeholders.

Reviewing project progress report and make recommendation to management in line with the project implementation plan.

Monitoring the implementation of the approved project and report on progress to management in line with the project implementation service level agreement

Developing and controlling the budget for project in line with KCCA financial guidelines and donor requirements.

Providing technical guidance to staff and management on all matters pertaining to the project.

Managing the performance of staff under direct supervision in accordance with the Performance Management guidelines.

Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
