Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Recycling Plant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our recycling facility.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the recycling plant, raw materials sourcing, including the receipt, sorting, processing, and shipment of recyclable materials.

Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and train plant staff, fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Safety Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with health and safety regulations, conducting regular safety audits and training sessions.

Environmental Compliance: Monitor plant activities to ensure compliance with environmental regulations, including waste disposal and emissions controls.

Budget Management: Develop and manage the plant’s budget, focusing on cost control, resource allocation, and financial performance.

Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to improve plant efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance the quality of recycled materials.

Maintenance Oversight: Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure all equipment is functioning correctly and downtime is minimized.

Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on plant operations, including production volumes, costs, and any issues impacting performance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.

Proven experience in plant management, preferably in a recycling or waste management environment.

Strong knowledge of recycling processes, materials,

and industry regulations.

Excellent leadership and team management skills.

Proficiency in budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.

Strong problem-solving abilities and a focus on continuous improvement.

Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
