Job Summary
  • We are looking for skilled Maintenance Technicians to join our team and ensure that our equipment and facilities operate at peak efficiency, helping us maintain our commitment to sustainability.

    Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform regular preventive maintenance on recycling machinery, conveyors, shredders, balers, and other plant equipment according to the maintenance schedule.
  • Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues with equipment; repair or replace defective parts as needed to minimize downtime.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure all equipment is operating within safety guidelines and regulations. Report any unsafe conditions or practices to the Maintenance Supervisor immediately.
  • Emergency Response: Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns or malfunctions, performing emergency repairs to restore operations as quickly as possible.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, parts replaced, and preventive maintenance performed.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the operations team to schedule maintenance activities that minimize disruption to production. Communicate effectively with other departments about maintenance needs and updates.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in managing the inventory of spare parts and tools, ensuring that necessary supplies are available when needed.
  • Training & Development: Stay updated on the latest maintenance techniques and equipment advancements. Participate in ongoing training as required.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and efficiency, and suggest modifications or upgrades to enhance plant performance.

    Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in maintenance, mechanical engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in
    a recycling or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Proficient in the use of hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of safety practices and regulations related to industrial maintenance.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including shifts and weekends, if necessary.
