Kakamega County Public Service Board Members of the Board Jobs in Kenya

Pursuant to section 57 and 58 of the County Governments Act. 2012 and section 5 of the Kakamega County Public Service Board Act. No. 7 of 2017.

The Selection Panel for the appointment of chairperson and members of the Kakamega County Public Service Board wishes to announce the following vacancies in the Kakamega County Public Service Board-a. Chairperson; and b. Five(S) Board members

Qualification and key competencies

Be a Kenya Citizen:

Not be a state or public officer:

Be in possession of a first degree from a University recognized in Kenya:

Have knowledge and working experience of not less than five (5) years:

Satisfy the requirements of Chapter six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010 on Leadership and Integrity;

Have demonstrated professional competence and managerial capabilities.

Be a professional who demonstrates absence of breach of the relevant professional code of conduct;

Demonstrate an appreciation of the diversity within the County;

Be able to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines:

Be visionary and strategic in approach; and

Have experience in organizational and/or human resource recruitment and development in technical and functional areas within the County Public Service.

Experience in medical/ healthcare, law. education. agriculture. engineering, economics.

Finance and accounting will be an added advantage. Tenure 6 years non-renewable contract which may be on full time or part-time basis.

NB -Applicants must meet values and principles set out in Article 10 and 232 of the Constitution of Kenya 2010 and must attach clearance from -

Higher Education Loans Board (I-IELB).

Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA):

Credit Reference Bureau (CRB):

Ethics and Anti.Corruption Commission (EACC):

and e Certificate of Good Conduct (CID).
