Duties and Responsibilities

This will be the entry and training grade into this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the guidance of a senior officer. An officer at this level may be deployed at a Sub-County Office or Sub-County Hospital and will be exposed to various administrative duties which will include:

  • Procurement, provision and maintenance of facilities;

  • Preparation of budgets;

  • Overseeing welfare of staff and patients; and

  • Ensuring their security and general upkeep of the hospital.

    Requirements for Appointment

    For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:

  • Bachelors degree in any of the following Social Sciences: Government, Anthropology, Sociology, Business Administration, Public Administration, Commerce, Health Economics or equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution;

  • Valid KAHA Certificate; and

  • Certificate in computer application skills from a recognized institution.
