Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Develop, monitor and upgrade systems and procure related to order processing and dispatch for improvement of operational efficiency and maximizing storage density which includes preparation of stock cards.

2. Initiate the procurement of products in accordance with the established order level with respect of lead times and delivery details.

3. Plan and coordinate the store function including receipts and dispatch operations to and from the stores.

4. Receive and verify incoming supplies and execute proper documentation of receipts.

5. Inspect the physical condition of commodities/items in stores and ensure stores are kept in good condition and are tidy.

6. Follow the “First in Firs out –FIFO” inventory management policy for all products in the ware house and implement learn inventory policy to manage expiry of products.

7. Consistently file documents as appropriate and expiry.

8. Participate in monthly stock count to prepare monthly capital report

9. Ensure the safety and ensure security of supplies and avoidance of loss as a result of deterioration theft, waste obsolescence.

10. Prepare the safety and intemperate report on stock levels and stock consumption trends, investigate stock discrepancies and propose recommendation.

11. Advise management on decants, obsolete, and slow moving products and products that are near their expiry dates in the store with a view of disposing off those items.

12. Take periodic stock counts in line with set standards, prepare reports on inventory counts, stock records spoilage and damage to store.

13. Work with fellow staff to maintain that sales targets and standards are maintained all the time

14. Actively participate in store daily opening and closing duties

15. Treat fellow staff and customers better than they expect.

17. Work with other staff to achieve excellent customer services, product knowledge and follow through on all JUSTMA transactions

Minimum Academic Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in purchasing and supplies management, store management, procurement, procurement and other related fields from a recognized institution.

• 2- 3 years of work experience.

• Additional advantage working with Uganda Breweries or Coca-Cola Company.
