Jupiter International Hotel Senior Auditor Jobs in Ethiopia

Scope and General Purpose

Provide independent observations and recommendations to the Hotel on the reliability of financial information, adequacy of internal controls, safeguarding of company assets and compliance with policies and procedures.

Major Responsibilities

Ensure that both internal & external financial policies, procedures, and systems are operated and maintained.

Prepare annual audit plans and conduct audits to verify accuracy of records, compliance with standards, policies and procedures.

Compiles audit findings and recommendations for modifications and improvements to systems and procedures.

Work with management to ensure a system is in place which ensures that all major risks of the hotel are identified and analyzed.

Assisting in interim and year-end work for external auditors.

Prepares formal written reports and action plans on the adequacy and effectiveness of the system of controls and the efficiency with which activities are carried out.

Job Requirements

Qualification Requirements

BA Degree in Accounting or Accounting & Finance or related field of studies.

Minimum of 5 years related experience.

Commitment to professional and company core values.

Proven skills and knowledge in Accounting System Software.

Ability to manage a complex and demanding workload.

Good understanding about Ethiopian tax and related laws.
