hadero coffee company, is on the process of establishing coffee roasting factory at Jackros (Bole Sub City) , Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. hadero plans to add value on green coffee and supply to local and international market. hadero is looking for highly motivated and experience personnel to fill the following position.

Post Title : Production Supervisor

Place of work: Addis Ababa

Salary : Based on Company scale

Term of employment: Indefinite period (Permanent)

Job Summary

The Production Supervisor is a position that works under and reports directly to the Production Manager.

There is a high level of responsibility in maintaining high level of quality production, sanitation and communication between the coffee roasters, packaging operators, sorters and customer service.

Key responsibilities

Follow up the overall production process
Setting short term goals for production personnel and assign tasks accordingly

Assist the training of staff on production operations, including roasting, grinding, stamping, head sealing, weighing and shipping

Give on-job training and guidance regularly and access each task accordingly

Follow up on each task meticulously

Supporting and follow closely the green coffee handling and roasting processes

Manage production efficiency and troubleshooting equipment failures

Ensuring Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) are maintained

Make sure all the registrations required are done on time

Make sure all

the reports required are delivered on time

Make sure all materials are available and fulfill all formalities required for the purchase of the materials

Responsible to maintain inventory levels for the production

Make sure while packing, all labeling of bags and boxes are adequately done
Ensuring all orders are filled, packed and shipped

Communicating production quality and level with General Manager

Make sure all the daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance and cleaning of production equipment is done

Serve as the in-house coffee expert and resource for customer coffee questions

Perform similar duties assigned by the general manager

Perform other related tasks assigned by the production manager.

Job Requirements

Qualification Requirement

Education: BSC degree in food science and nutrition, food science and postharvest technology, Food engineering and similar disciplines

Experience: 1-2 year experience

Additional requirements:

Good written and verbal communication skill

Ability to work under stress

Multi-tasking, organized and analytical

Strong Team player
