Job Description

Summary:

Ensures smooth and cost-efficient flow of production operations. Well-versed in production procedures and ways to optimize them. Organized and results-driven with good problem-solving skills. Advanced computer skills and communication.

Duties and Responsibilities

Ensure that production is planned in accordance with the Head Office programme and optimization of factory resources

Liaise with Mould Shop, Forming and Head Office with regard to machine viability tool condition, availability and control. Organize tool transfers to other factories. Ensure maintenance of draw control on each furnace.

Prepare three week’s forward production plan and distribute to concerned parties.

Be involved in the daily performance of specific jobs running to ensure jobs are not under or over.

Ensure availability of packaging material for all runs.

Issue daily packaging instructions to concerned departments and complete a stock summary of cartons at each month end.

Control functions associated with the R3 PP Module

Job Requirements

Skills and Qualifications Required:

Degree in IT Engineering/Computer science, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering.

Minimum 3 years experience in Production Planning is essential with strong attention to detail.

Computer literate

Thorough understanding of SAP and Excel is essential.

Disciplined, punctual, responsible, accountable and accurate.
