Job Description

Summary:

To manage and coordinate packaging requirements

Duties and Responsibilities

Compare the actual packaging material consumption versus bill of materials and reports any anomalies.

Publish Stock On Hand report on all packaging materials daily.

Prepare and submit forecast of packaging material requirement

Conduct perpetual and monthly counts on all packaging materials.

Ensure that physical stock and system generated balances at all times.

Audit and Report on incoming packaging materials i.e. new and secondhand daily Provide statistics on returnable packaging rejected by the plant.

Manage and control safe stacking and housekeeping in the warehouse.

Job Requirements

Skills and Qualifications Required:
Qualifications:

Degree in Procurement and Logistics

Experience:

4 years experience in inventory management in a manufacturing environment

Inventory software experience essential

Computer literacy, preferably SAP and excel proficient

An understanding of complex/ sequential manufacturing processes

Competencies:

Attention to detail and accuracy

Analytical ability

Organizational and systems driven

Well-developed communication skills

Must be able to work under pressure

Ability to work independently as well in a team

Strong leadership skills
