  • Executing perfectly the commercial campaigns to ensure an engaging, coherent and addictive value proposition for our customers
  • Ensuring the competitiveness of Jumia’s pricing by all means
  • Rigorously quality checking the content, pricing, placement, categorization of all products to maximize the conversion rate
  • Animating on a daily basis Jumia’s commercial offer and performance by updating and optimizing product placement across dedicated pages
  • Managing price manual price changes
    Building smart reports to evaluate the impact of the merchandizing efforts
  • Working seamlessly with all departments (Commercial, Marketing, Onsite, Operations...), enabling decision making, problem solving and ensuring laser focus execution.
  • Leading massive and complex commercial operations and project management initiatives, coordinating effectively cross functions initiatives.

  • Building strong link with C-Levels and account managers of our top brands and vendors. You should justify of a flawless understanding of the entire ecosystem as well as a tremendous network.
  • Driving the growth by ensuring we have the right products at the right prices
  • Making sure your accounts are matching key operational KPIs (out of stock and time for having the products ready to ship)
  • Ensuring we anticipate sourcing through brand product roadmaps as well as we replenish fast enough missing strategic assortment
  • On-boarding 100% of your account’s products available
  • Organizing key commercial events such as Black Friday, Jumia Anniversary, etc.
  • Building business plan for your category to ensure we grow them in a structured way.

    Jumia Digital Marketing Manager Jobs in Kenya

    Responsibilities

  • Explores opportunities and facilitates campaigns through all OM Channels with particular emphasis on innovative initiatives.
  • Provide recommendations and develop strategies for keyword opportunities, campaign structuring, targeting, display network, and other facets of paid search in accordance with venture goals.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement by proactively assessing OM practices and methodology.
  • Demonstrate measurable success through the achievement of venture Goals & Metrics. E.g. account sales, profitability, lead generation, campaign management, report generation/analysis and overall service.
  • Assist with formulating campaign strategy, researching keywords & potential marketing channels, analyzing competitors, and testing.
  • Monitor keyword bids, account daily and monthly budget caps, impression share, quality score and other important account metrics for assigned ventures.
  • Monitor and administer web analytics dashboards, reports and key reporting tools, and point out key areas of importance in accordance to venture goals.
  • Monitor and evaluate results and performance across the major OM channels.

    Qualifications

  • Experience in Online Marketing (3+ years) – e-commerce or travel background preferred.
  • Mastery of MS Excel. Google Apps + Google Apps Script is a plus.
  • Experience with website analysis using a variety of analytics tools including Google Analytics as well as internal reporting tools.
  • Experience working with popular PPC ad platforms (AdWords, Yahoo, Bing).
    AdWords/ Facebook / Bing certification a plus.
    R,Python or JavaScript experience not required but preferred.
  • Data Science & Machine Learning experience / formation / side projects is a plus.
