As Zando’s Digital Project Manager you will be responsible for managing all IT related projects. You will work closely with the Development team as well as other teams to ensure outcomes are achieved. Key Performance Areas:Gather requirements from the necessary internal and external business stakeholders for all IT projects / feature requests.
Creation of Feature / Campaign briefs from client requirements.
Client relationship management including communicate timelines and project scope to stakeholders.
In collaboration with key stakeholders, plan sprints - delegation of tasks to developers.
Ensure team executes sprints in a timely manner.
Managing the project lifecycle, i.e. development, testing and release.
Constantly liaising and pulling requirements from different facets of the business.
Conduct monthly IT presentations, and provide documentation relating to projects, technical discovery outcomes, roadmaps, timelines etc.
Creation of IT PO’s and
monthly invoicing to clients based on development hours.
Continuously prioritizing different areas of the business.
Continuously liaising with Development Team – Stand-ups and Sprint planning.
Documenting and improving development processes.
Education, skills and experience required:
Grade 12 (Senior Certificate - high school qualification) / RPL at same level.
Relevant tertiary education (e.g.: BCom or Computer Science) advantageous.
A minimum of 3 years project management within a technical environment is essential.
A minimum of 2 years Agile and Scrum experience is essential.
Experience with PM tools such as Active Colab; Jira; Trello or similar is essential.
Experience within an eCommerce environment is highly advantageous.
Must hold a technical understanding of web development processes.
Highly organized and the ability to prioritize work.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with all levels of the business.
Detail consciousness.
Problem solving ability.
Ability to think strategically and commercially.
Ability to work in a team.
