Minimum Qualification

  • Applicants should be Ugandans holding an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a recognized University /Institution plus a Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre.

    Working Experience

    Duties

    The Incumbent Will Be Responsible to the Senior Legal Officer for Performing the Following Duties:-

  • Supporting the preparation and drafting of Memoranda of Understanding and agreements;

  • Participating in reviewing contracts, agreements, resolutions, policies, bills in accordance with relevant National and International Laws;

  • Supporting research and preparation of legal briefs and submissions on matters regarding the Ministry;

  • Supporting the update of the database on legal matters and documents of the Ministry for future reference;

  • Participating in the Ministry in formulation of polices, legal and regulatory instruments;

  • Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
