The Main Responsibilities of the Role Include:Providing first and second line technical support for all end-users and their computing environments. This will include attending user Service Desk tickets and driving resolution of tickets within defined SLA.
Responsible for the optimal working of the end-user Office 365 environment, including Outlook, OneDrive, Teams, Skype-for-Business.
Define and roll out Desktop hardware and software standards, using automated software distribution tools and ensure that defined standards are enforced across the Group at all times.
Responsible for the support and maintenance of the Group RDS environment that supports over 500 users.
Support and manage the Group Active Directory domain, applying best practice according to standards defined by our cyber security outsource partner.
Providing first line technical support for all server environments and networks across the Group.
Perform health checks on all servers, network, and facilities on a daily basis.
Manage the operational working of all site facilities’ infrastructure, including telephony, WiFi, printing, meeting room audio visual, access control, surveillance, and power supply. Responsible for investigating and resolving issues that may arise.
Responsible for administering hardware and software assets, including the tracking of these assets, spec’ing and ordering new equipment, and management of the Group’s mobile device subscriptions.
Collaborating with external outsource vendors to deliver infrastructure and facilities solutions when required.
The Experience We’re Looking for:
Over 5 years hands-on experience providing IT support
Experience in Manufacturing or Finance sector is advantageous
Expert knowledge and experience working with the following
toolsets:
Microsoft Office 365
Microsoft Windows 10+
Microsoft Windows Server
Microsoft RDS, Active Directory, WSUS, SCCM
Strong experience supporting end-user computing environments for communities of 500+ users.
Strong experience deploying and supporting IT facilities solutions including audio visual, access control, printing, and surveillance.
Good practical experience of supporting network deployments including WiFi, LAN, WAN, IPSEC.
Has strong technical knowledge in IT Systems and Services.
Suitable tertiary IT qualification.
Microsoft A+ and N+ certifications.
Microsoft Office 365 certifications will be an advantage.
