Job Description

  • Provide training for operators

  • Electrical system Design, Electrical drawings (AutoCAD)

    Project management

  • Must be a dedicated individual and willing to travel

  • PLC Programming (Schneider, Siemens, Omron, Mitsubishi, Allen Bradley, Delta and IFM)

    PLC fault finding

  • Installation and commissioning on site

  • HMI Development

  • Setup / Commission VSD’s

  • Electrical Fault finding

  • Instrumentation Fault finding

  • Onsite support and breakdown assistance

  • Fieldbus network, Modbus, Profinet and Ethernet

    Skills & Experience

  • Experience working in Automation Engineering position is essential

  • Ability to work independently and part of a team

  • Must have exceptional programming skills

  • Excellent task management capabilities

  • Computer literate (Advanced MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint)

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Must have worked in a project environment doing programming

  • Minimum of 2 - 5 years’ experience in a similar role

    Qualification

  • BEng / BSc / BTech Electrical / Electronic or Mechatronics Engineering

  • Valid drivers’ license and own transport
