Job DescriptionA pharmaceutical company in Parow is looking for an IT Specialist with 3-5 years experience within an IT environment
Must have
Matric
Minimum 5 years IT operations experience
Good Warehouse process experience, within the Pharmaceutical Industry (Beneficial)
Microsoft, Microsoft Office and Linux knowledge and experience
A+, N+, Qualification
MCSE
Good understanding of Google Mail and other functionalities
Cloud Based Systems (Beneficial)
ERP systems
Duties includes
Manage the day to day operation of the computer systems and auxiliary equipment
Configure and install new equipment including maintaining and overseeing the PABX systems
Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and correct them according to operations and equipment manuals
Maintain a neat, safe and orderly operations area that is conducive to continual improvement of productivity
Monitor network equipment and communication lines of company wide area network, as well as third party and services company networks
Perform administrative functions as assigned by IT Management
Assist IT Management with in house software support, customer service and daily operations support
Procurement of hardware, software and consumables
Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes and work co-operatively and jointly with all departments to provide quality seamless customer service
Diagnose computer hardware, software, or system problems reported by users
Control the Set-up of network settings, e-mail facilities, internet functionality as well interactivity with network equipment
Institute and supervise periodic maintenance and cleaning of all network and PC equipment
Oversee the essentials of Cloud Computing and network security software
Oversee the training of employees in the use of existing and new technical systems, software and procedures
Report on problems efficiently and accurately to Management and IT management
