Job Placements 3X Recruiters (PHRU) Job in South Africa

Main purpose of the job

To recruit and retain eligible participants for the study

To facilitate the informed consent process and to conduct interviews/survey

To provide communication link between participants and staff

To assist with organizational research functions.

Location

Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital, Soweto - Johannesburg

Key performance areas

Build trust between participants, the community and the study

Recruit eligible participants

Retain participants in the study

Schedule study visits for participants

Conduct follow up visits or telephone calls with participants timeously according to the schedule for the day

Perform Informed Consent process

Conduct survey interviews

Perform fieldwork activities as required

Perform study administration duties as and when required

Manage and reply to project-related correspondence

Preparing daily, weekly and monthly recruitment reports as required

Participate in project meetings

Required minimum education and training

Matric or equivalent

Basic Counseling Certificate

Required minimum work experience

1-2 years’ experience in research

Desirable additional education, work experience and personal abilities

Ability to work in a complex and demanding environment

Strong verbal communication skills

Excellent English language proficiency – verbal and written

Ability to speak different local languages

Attention to detail, teamwork and problem-solving skills

It is expected that he will applies consistent adherence to research and GCP practices

Excellent computer literacy using MS Excel and MS Word

Code 10 driver’s license with PDP
