Job Description

The Manager of Governance, Coordination and Monitoring leads the establishment of a national coordination platform on job creation and strategically influence key high jog yielding sectors.

The Manager of Governance, Coordination and Monitoring will report directly to the Commissioner and is responsible for:

  • Ensure coherence across all job creation initiatives to maximise outputs and job creation opportunities
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of an advocacy strategy for the Job Creation Commission
  • Lead the coordination efforts; relating to convening relevant Ministries, Non-State Actors and organizing high-level meetings on issues directly related to job creation and employment
  • Negotiate with key sectors to advance the job creation agenda
  • Monitor, influence and support key sectors to generate more job opportunities.
  • Contribute to the set-up of relevant committees and advisory groups within the Jobs Creation Commission
  • Conduct stakeholders mapping and implementing relevant engagement mechanism; updating it regularly
  • Prepare relevant reports and documentation for the relevant committees and coordination events
  • Assist the Team Director in the creation of coordination platforms and strategies that can facilitate and support job creation.

    Job Requirements

    Education and Experience

  • MA/BA in Agro-Economy, Business Administration, Business Management, Policy Analysis, Social Work or related fields
  • A minimum of 9/7 years of work experience in related field

    Job Grade: XI
