Jhpiego Supply Chain/Pharmacy Officer Jobs in Nigeria

Overview

Supply chain and pharmacy officer shall oversee supply chain management and pharmaceutical care for HIV programming in Niger.

S/he will provide technical and operational guidance and oversight to the Supply Chain and pharmaceutical services at state, local government and site level, liaising with partners and local organizations.

The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree in Pharmacy, Supply chain, or related field and experience in HIV care and treatment program.

Required Qualifications/ Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Postgraduate/Master’s Degree in Pharmacy, Epidemiology, Public Health or related field.**

At least 4 - 6 years’ post-NYSC professional experience Pharmacy and supply chain management in the implementation and management HIV program.

Familiarity with USAID/PEPFAR HIV/AIDS programs, Nigerian public sector health system and HIV/AIDS response.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Microsoft Excel) and related applications.

Demonstrated ability to train and build the capacity of others on Supply chain and pharmaceutical care and relevant documentation. **

Knowledge of HIV program commodities and consumables **

Ability to organize and coordinate information and logistics for programs and activities.
