JCRC Research Nurse Jobs in Uganda

Job Summary;

The candidate shall primarily be responsible for participant mobilization and recruitment, accurate completion of visit procedures and collection of information from study participants according to protocols, and for protecting the health, safety, and welfare of research participants.

Duties and Responsibilities;

Recruiting and screening of study participants.

Counselling and management of patients on research studies.

Performing and documenting study evaluations, medical histories, adverse effects, physical assessment and specimen collection.

Clinical Trial medication administration and monitoring.

Accurate data collection about study participants.

Ensuring quality assurance as per good clinical practice and sponsor regulatory requirements.

Interfacing with monitors and ensure that their quarries are resolved on time.

Any other duties that will be assigned to you by management from time to time.

Qualifications and Skills

A diploma or higher qualification is desirable.

The candidate should have a wide range of skills including management and organisational skills, teaching and mentoring, communication and good computer skills.

He or she should be able to take initiative, eager to learn new things, organised, assertive, flexible, good communicator, self-assured, robust, leader, autonomous and a creative thinker.

Having worked as a research nurse in a reputable research organization is an added advantage
