JASBEL Energy Project Manager Jobs in Ethiopia; The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of assigned projects throughout their life cycle. This role ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, and with minimal risks while maximizing efficiency and profitability. The Project Manager will coordinate teams, manage budgets and schedules, and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and vendors.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education & Experience

• BSc or MSc in Engineering.

• 15 years of relevant experience in Project Management, at least 5 years in management.

• Experience in Solar PV Projects will be an added advantage.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks.

• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Execution & Delivery

• Drive project execution, ensuring adherence to schedule, budget, and quality standards.

• Directly manage project teams for successful implementation.

• Identify and mitigate potential risks to ensure smooth project completion.

2. Budget & Schedule Management

• Oversee and manage project budgets, including costs related to permits, consultants, and construction.

• Review, adjust, and take ownership of project schedules to ensure timely delivery.

• Assist in negotiating construction bids and contract terms.

3. Stakeholder & Team Coordination

• Maintain strong relationships and clear communication with clients, stakeholders, and vendors.

• Engage and coordinate internal resources, engineers, consultants, and installers for project execution.

• Work closely with the Project Coordinator to ensure overall project success.

4. Performance Monitoring & Reporting

• Evaluate installer progress reports to identify and manage project risks.

• Provide regular project updates, including key findings and recommendations, to clients and senior management.

• Conduct project meetings and submit weekly progress reports to the Project Coordinator and HQ.

5. Risk Management & Quality Assurance

• Identify potential project risks and implement preventive measures.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety protocols, and company policies.

• Maintain high-quality customer service and project execution.


6. Other Duties

• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
