JASBEL Energy Project Finance Manager Jobs in Ethiopia; The Project Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the project, ensuring strong financial controls, timely reporting, and compliance with tax regulations. This role includes preparing financial statements, managing budgets and cash flows, liaising with tax consultants, and providing strategic financial insights to support decision-making.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s /Masters in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

• Minimum 12 years of experience in finance and accounting, at least 5 years in management role.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks or other accounting software.


Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Planning & Reporting

• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to the General Manager.

• Develop and monitor budgets, cash flow forecasts, and financial performance reports.

• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of management accounts and financial statements.

• Conduct financial impact analysis for new projects, identifying risks and opportunities.



2. Accounting & Compliance

• Maintain and oversee financial records, ledgers, and the chart of accounts.

• Implement and monitor internal financial controls to safeguard company assets.

• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, liaising with tax consultants for timely tax filings and strategic tax planning.



3. Strategic Financial Management

• Lead financial negotiations with banks and financial institutions for project-related facilities.

• Develop and enforce finance and accounting policies and procedures across the organization.

• Assist in hiring, training, and managing the finance team for the project.


4. General Financial Oversight

• Plan, direct, and oversee the monthly financial and accounting work plan.

• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of all financial transactions.

• Prepare ad hoc financial reports as required by management.
