Japanese Sushi / Sashimi Chef Jobs in Naivasha, Kenya

Job Responsibilities:
  • Create high quality sushi including cooking rice, rolling sushi, temperature recording, cutting and packaging for take-out and dine-in plate preparation
  • Prepare meals for guests to the highest standard and satisfaction
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in all aspects of making sushi and sashimi as well as rolls.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of sushi station
  • Be a team player; have lots of fun and support other teammates

    Qualifications:
  • Effective English communication skills
  • Training in food and beverages – Certificate or Diploma
  • At least two years working experience in a reputable Japanese Restaurant
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment while maintaining a friendly demeanor
  • Flexibility to work various shifts and weekends
  • Likes dealing with people and loves making sushi
