The Islamic Call University College invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for
the following positions.

Principal

Qualifications PhD in Islamic Religious Studies and/ or Educational
Management.

Teaching Experience More than 10 years in higher education

Publications More than five publications from reputable journals.

Language Fluent in English and Arabic.

Experience Must have served as a Dean of

Faculty in any University.

Salary Negotiable

Age Should be between 40 and 70 years

Gender Either Male or Female

Marital Status Properly Married in Islamic Laws.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

Drawing and revising academic programs.

Drawing the general time table for the University.

Allocating course units to academic staff according to their expertise.

Responsible for the finances of the University.

Responsible for the Welfare of the staff and students.

Controlling discipline of staff and students.

Chief Public Relations Officer of the University.

Represents the University internally and externally.

Attends functions of Uganda Vice Chancellors’ Forum and other academic organizations.

Uplifting and maintaining academic standards of the University.

Any other duty as may be assigned to him by the University Council
