Interswitch Group Head, Merchant Services Jobs in Nigeria
Job Purpose To drive the formulation and implementation strategy of the Digital Commerce Merchant Services business through business development; ecosystem development, product development and channel development to achieve maximum value creation for Interswitch, Merchants and Consumers
To ensure growth and profitability of the Digital Commerce Merchant Services business.
Key Responsibilities
Product Development – Ideate and design new products and product extensions that will serve Merchants and Consumers for the Merchant Services business.
Ecosystem Development – Drive the creation of Merchant ecosystems for consumers to buy goods and services and Merchants to sell their goods and services
Channel Development - Identify and design / develop new channels and touchpoints or enrich existing channels and touchpoints consumers will use to engage merchants and their services
Drive the market penetration and market expansion of the Digital Commerce Merchant Services business across targeted markets within and outside of Nigeria.
Develop Business Case Analysis for the justification of new products and services and oversee the research and information gathering process for existing and new products and services.
Work closely with Sales, Products, Marketing, Engineering, Operations and Technology to achieve excellent customer experiences, customer satisfaction and market penetration
Gather intelligence through surveys, engagements and partners to identify market requirements and use these to inform the review and continuous improvement of the Digital Commerce Merchants Services strategy
Identify, develop and nurture relationships with Partners and Resellers.
Develop and communicate periodic financial and non-financial reports to effectively monitor the activities of
the Digital Commerce Merchants business
Set, manage, and communicate performance standards & KPI’s for the department using Balance Scorecards and other relevant tools.
Showcasing Interswitch and Digital Commerce at conferences in and outside Nigeria.
Coordinating the response to Request for Proposals, Request for Information, Expression of Interest and other similar requisite documents demanded from prospective clients within and outside Nigeria.
Education and Experience
Academic Qualification(s): Good First Degree in relevant discipline
Experience (Number of relevant years): 10 years experience in business development, product development and market development.
