International Planned Parenthood Federation BMZ Project Advisor Jobs in Kenya
PurposeEnsure IPPF’s efficient and effective management of the project. This shall include in:Strengthening the MAs capacity to provide timely lifesaving interventions in humanitarian settings especially to poor, socially excluded, and/or underserved people, particularly women and girls.
Transforming the MAs project activities through an efficient and performant management systems to ensure sustainability of project results.
Closely support member associations for the achievements of the project expected results as provided for in the relevant restricted funding projects documents.
Ensure that the close-out period of activities under the grants will be used to catch up with any delays vis-à-vis the approved proposal and that the narrative as well as financial reports meet the scheduling and quality donor requirements.
The consultant is expected to work in close relationship with the Program Department team within and across the region including other units integral to delivery of project objectives, such the IPPF Humanitarian Hub.
Responsibilities may Include
Support the timely implementation of project work plans and budgets according to the approved work plans
Monitor and support the implementation of work plan and budgets at country level
Tracking and reviewing the project M&E plan to ensure project delivery
Supporting and coordinating the project reporting to IPPF and donor as per the approved proposal
Contribute to effective communication and collaboration between the Project Team and IPPF Regional and Central Offices, Member Associations (MAs) and partners to achieve the projects goals
Collaborate with the ARO Operations department to oversee budget implementation and to prepare the finance report against program achievements.
Collaborate with the Strategy, Organisational Development and Governance Department and the Communication team to document promising/best practices in the project MAs
Collaborate with the External Relations and Communication department to ensure that learning from the humanitarian program is effectively documented and shared across the program
staff as well as with external partners
Undertake any other duties as may be requested during the consultancy period.

Experience Education Qualifications
Master’s degree in Public Health, Health Services Management, Reproductive Health, Social Sciences, or other related areas
Strong project management skills
Knowledge and Experience on SRHR
Familiarity with other humanitarian coordination mechanisms, guiding principles and standards is an advantage
Solid interpersonal communication skills
Proficiency in current office software applications.
Work Experience
3 - 5 years of experience at a similar level (advisor)
Language
Fluency in English and French (both oral and written) is required.
