International Organization for Migration Information Management Coordinator Jobs in South Sudan
Core Functions / Responsibilities:Support the operational coordination and management of the Information Management Unit (IMU) to ensure provision of data management, analysis, visualization and mapping for all departments in the mission.
In coordination with the cluster leads, provide technical inputs and other information for the development, implementation and monitoring of an Information management strategy for CCCM, Shelter/NFI clusters for evidence based decision making and advocacy for humanitarian response planning in South Sudan.
In close coordination with the Programme Support Unit (PSU) and Programme Coordinators, assist in the development of information products for donors and publications.
Carry out preliminary data analysis to highlight information gaps and to facilitate the use of data for evidence based response planning and programme development.
Collaborate with IMU colleagues on the design and implementation of technical aspects of IM solutions for the workflow and documentation management of the administrative and operational processes of the mission.
Ensure compliance of the information management systems and infrastructure with IOM IT policies, standards and best practice for high performance, reliability, information security and to meet end user’s needs.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
Education
• Master’s degree in Information Management Systems, Geo informatics, Data Management or a related field from an accredited academic institution with two years of relevant professional experience; or
• University degree in the above fields with four years of relevant professional experience.
Experience
• Experience in designing and implementation of Information Management methodology and systems; selection of appropriate technology standards for IM;
• Experience in quantitative and qualitative data analysis, visualization, mapping, document designing;
• Experience in data base development/management, website development/content management are an advantage;
• Extensive knowledge of humanitarian and development programming, information requirements are an advantage.
Languages
Fluency in English is required.

Main responsibilities :
Project Management
To develop, implement and monitors the FSL project, in accordance with multiple objectives, activities and targets outlined within current donor proposals and in line with projects’ budgets;
To ensure that activities are appropriately monitored and evaluated and proposes, when deemed necessary, amendments to the implementation strategy;
To follow up on the FSL situation in South Sudan, particularly in Equatorial, and activities’ impact and propose adjustments of the project strategy if needed;
To forecast and follow up on expenditures related to the project;
To participate in budget revision exercises;
Reporting, monitoring, communication and planning
Ensures donor and internal reporting : Writing of the narrative monthly, quarterly, intermediate and final reports, according to the templates and requirements;
Feeds information to the field coordinator;
Participate in designing strategies and objectives for improved support to beneficiaries and contribute actively in its monitoring, evaluation and revision;
Participates in assessments in its geographical zone of intervention or outside;
As requested by his/her Line Manager, take part in the definition of strategic orientation for the mission, be it in the operational or in the technical part;
Coordination and representation
Participates in internal coordination meetings as needed and requested;
Participates in external coordination meetings (Cluster meetings, meetings with authorities from the Ministry of Agriculture and Ministry of Education) and ensures the correct technical coordination of Tdh health and nutrition activities;
Represents Tdh in front of the Ministries of Agriculture and Education in Yei, as requested;
Ensures the correct integration of Tdh’s Food Security activities and strategy in the Ministry of Agriculture’s plans, policies and regulations;
Ensures the correct coordination with the Project Manager for Health and Nutrition, in the activities related to his area of work, and specifically in the School Feeding Program and monitoring of nutrition status of children;
Security
Comply with Tdh Security Regulations;
Ensure Staff safety and inform staff on security rules as defined;
Reports any security/safety incident and/or risk to the Field coordinator.
Profile :
Extensive project management experience (management, planning, budget follow up, logistics) in emergency program
Extensive experience in Food security, nutrition, livelihood
At least 2 years’ experience in a similar position/high management position in the field
Excellent written and spoken English skills (French is not required)
Good writing, reporting and communication skills

Main responsibilities :
Administration & Finance Management
Treasury management
Prepare Tdh Treasury forecasts and prepare/send fund request to the field coordinator for validation.
Verify Partner treasury forecasts in line with the budget & prepare/send fund request to the field coordinator;
Works in close collaboration with the project managers and the logistics to ensure the treasury forecasts are done in accordance of the budget
Supervise the cash and bank management
HR management
Work with the admin coordination ensure that declarations and payment of taxes and charges are made to relevant organizations
Keep informed of all bills and changes associated with employment law, employment in general, and staff training.
Improve staff working conditions in close collaboration with the administrative coordinator
Check the monthly salaries and send all the data to the administrative coordination in Juba
Verify the base’s salary databases and payroll processing
Others
Adhere to and enforce Tdh administrative regulations and procedures.
Guarantee that project donor’s procedures are respected.
Ensure Partner’s good practices and transparency.
Work in close collaboration with Tdh projects teams and the different departments.
Work in close collaboration with the Partners’ Admin team by collecting, verifying, analyzing their data and, if needed, provide appropriate advices and trainings in collaboration with the administrative coordination.
Profile :
Education and experience:
Professional diploma or university degree in Administration, Finance field
At least 1 year experience in a similar position
Knowledge of major donors procedures is an asset
Knowledge of international humanitarian response and development work
