Major duties and responsibilities

Establish and implement a reporting and investigation mechanism for spills, exposures, and other incidents.

Establish and implement procedures for the management of spills and exposures, including the use of personal protective equipment.

Establish and implement processes for the safe and legal disposal of hazardous materials and waste

Make sure infections acquired in the laboratory are reported, as defined in the policy and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Review Safety manual and prepare annual safety training

Conduct safety audit and follow up the non-conformities and plan for improvement
Perform other tasks based on company and in particular the department need

Job Requirements

Requirements

BSc and above with the relevant safety officer related experiences.

Experience

4 years and above experience as Medical Laboratory Technologist/ Environmental Science

Skills

Basic computer skill (Ms Office), Statistical soft wares (Epi-info,Epi-data,SPSS etc.) use
