IBTCI serves government agencies, private sector companies and several donor agencies. IBTCI specializes in Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) across many sectors including, but not limited to, conflict and crisis, democracy and governance, economic growth, education, environment, and global health.
Assignment Title:
Workshop Faciliator - East Africa
Responsibilities
Facilitate the validation workshop in conjunction with the CEWARN Evaluation Team in Nairobi, Kenya, focused on lessons learned.
Create a powerpoint encapsulating the Evaluation Team’s findings
Present a powerpoint to key stakeholders
Draft a final report on the main outcomes of the validation workshop.
Serve in the above consultant capacity to support the IBTCI technical practices of Crisis, Conflict & Governance, Agriculture & Food Security & Economic, Education & Growth and Global Health and/or Business Development divisions.
This position does not authorize/require the consultant to directly communicate with IBTCI clients.
This position does not authorize/require the consultant to have decision making authority on
final work product.
Qualifications
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Prior experience with USAID, especially in Monitoring and Evaluation
Knowledge of East African context or experience in the region
Demonstrable experience facilitating comparable workshops or seminars in a high profile setting.
Minimum Requirements:
Experience with large and multi-cultural audience.
Experience delivering a presentation about complex and sensitive issues to non-native English speakers.
At least 5 years of relevant experience
Oral fluency in English with strong reporting skills
Education:
A Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
