Reporting to Insurance Manager.
Direct Reports Insurance Sales Representatives.

Responsibilities

He/She will be responsible for the overall operations in the Claims & Underwriting Department, implementation of the strategic plans for the Insurance Agency in compliance with the policies and procedures, and regulatory requirements.

He/She will also be responsible for supervision, mentorship and development of the Insurance Sales Representatives.

Qualifications

A Business related university degree from a recognized institution, AIIK Diploma or good progress towards attainment of ACII Professional Qualification.

At least 4 years' experience in the management of motor and non-motor underwriting and claims in the insurance industry preferably within an insurance intermediary.

This includes market analysis, product awareness, sales, servicing of customer accounts, market expansion, handling of customer queries and complaints, preparation and submission of weekly sales plans and sales reports.

Qualifications

Diploma in Business related course, Bachelor's Degree in Business related course will be an added advantage,

Certificate of Proficiency in Insurance (COP) / Diploma in Insurance Certificate of Good Conduct,

IT Proficiency,

1 year
