Description ICPAU is the national professional accountancy body in Uganda, established by the Accountants Act in 1992, now the Accountants Act, 2013. It has the legal mandate to regulate and maintain the Standard of Accountancy in Uganda; to prescribe and regulate the conduct of accountants and practising accountants in Uganda; as well as conduct professional accountancy examinations in Uganda.
ICPAU seeks to recruit dynamic, visionary, courteous, self-driven, energetic, team players and committed individuals of high integrity who can bring expertise in their fields. The ideal candidates should:
Have a good command of the English language (both spoken and written).

Role Purpose And Context
The job holder will identify and solicit business opportunities for ICPAU and assist management in resource mobilisation, identifying and executing investment opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Developing and sustaining solid relationships with ICPAU takeholders and clients.
Analyzing client feedback data to determine whether they are satisfied with company products and services.
Training and guiding other business development staff.
Providing insight into product development and competitive positioning.
Analyzing financial data and developing effective
strategies to reduce business costs and increase company profits.
Conducting market research to identify new business opportunities.
Collaborating with ICPAU stakeholders to determine the most viable, cost-effective approach to pursue new business opportunities.
Meeting with potential investors to present ICPAU offerings and negotiate business deals.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business management or administration, finance, accounting, marketing, or related field
Experience
Two (2) years of proven experience working as a business development officer or similar role.
