Sales and Marketing Interns Opportunities at Shell Station, Kenyatta Avenue

Insignia Group Ltd is a company that deals with General supplies, retailing, reselling and transportation of Petrol and Petroleum products all over East Africa. Our other businesses include Service Centers, Motor Bazaars, Car Wash Bays and a Cleaning company that does office and home cleaning, including carpet cleaning.

We seek to recruit competitive and vibrant Sales and Marketing Interns to help us build our business activities and based at our Shell Kenyatta Avenue Station.

The goal is to meet and surpass the company’s expectations to drive rapid and sustainable growth as they also learn and grow in the profession.

The Incumbent(s) will earn a commission for every sale completed.

Permanent placement will be awarded to best performing individual.

Job Brief:

Sales and Business Development. Actively seeking out new sales opportunities through cold-calling, networking, and social media.

Conducting Market Research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs.

Setting up meetings with potential clients and listen to their wishes and concerns.

Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections.

Customer Relationship Management.

Skills Set:

Have excellent sales skills and the drive to sell.

Have strong business skills and the ability

to make accurate revenue forecasts.

Have the confidence and determination to pursue leads, overcome obstacles and secure deals.

Be able to handle rejection.

Have excellent communication skills complemented by diplomacy.

Be familiar with the potential of digital communication channels for advertising and marketing campaigns.

Be able to think creatively and generate original ideas.

Be able to work calmly, effectively under pressure, react quickly and meet tight deadlines.

Have excellent writing and presentation skills.

Requirements:

A good level of General education- Diploma or Degree.

Computer Literacy

Education background in Sales and Marketing

Experience in a related field will be an added advantage.

Experience in Customer Service will be an added advantage.
