Infectious Diseases Institute Qualitative Interviewer Jobs in Uganda

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Develop study tools i.e. standard operating procedures (SOPs), interview guides,
consent forms, check lists

Translate study tools into local languages

Screen study participants using a screening checklist

Obtain informed consent from potential study participants

Enroll study participants as per the stipulated Guidelines.

Maintain participants ‘s confidentiality and observing all research ethics

Conduct participant interviews efficiently and effectively.

Document all observation field notes

Transcribe all audio recorded interviews

Conduct Transcript review from time to time

Execute both Coding and qualitative data analysis

Required Qualifications Skills and Attributes

Bachelor’s degree in humanities (Social sciences, Social work and Social
Administration, Community Psychology, Education (Arts)

Knowledge of different qualitative data collection tools

Knowledge of health research ethics

Previous experience in data collection and management

Training in human subjects Protection (HSP)

Training in Good Clinical Practice (GCP)
