Indonesia Scholarships for Masters Degrees for Developing Countries
The Government of the Republic of Indonesia is offering Master Degree scholarship for Kenyan nationals through the Developing Countries Partnership Scheme.
The Scholarship covers study programs in the field of humanities, engineering, sciences, social sciences and education offered in 16 prominent universities in Indonesia and will cover;
Return air ticket (economy class)
Tuition fee
Settlement allowance of IDR 1,000,000 (approximately USD 77)
Monthly living allowance of IDR 2,550,00 (approximately USD 196)
Monthly research allowance of IDR 400,000(approximately USD 30)
Monthly books allowance of IDR 350,000 (approximately UDS 27 and
Limited health insurance
Duration of scholarships
The duration of the scholarship is three (3) years divided as follows:
One (1) year Indonesian language course and preparatory program
Two (2) years Masters Degree program
Eligibility
The maximum age to apply for the scholarship is 35 years old
Applicants must hold a bachelors degree (Masters degree holders are not eligible to apply);
Applicants must have a TOEFL (or other certified English Proficiency) score of 500 or equivalent
Applicants must complete the online application form;
Required Documents
Recommendation letter from the Indonesian Embassy in Kenya
Nomination letter from a government official if working in the public service
2 Academic Recommendation letters
Scanned passport (personal data page only) or birth certificate
Scanned bachelor certificate and academic transcripts (in English)
Scanned TOEFL score certificate (or other English Proficient Tests)
obtained within the last 2 year.
Scanned Official Medical Statement (Official Diagnose) prepared by a certified physician.
Application procedure
Download the invitation letter (available in the KNB Scholarship website)
Submit the invitation letter, Passport, Academic Certificates and Academic Transcripts to the Indonesian Embassy to acquire the Recommendation letter;
Complete the online application process
Selection process
Selection Results Announcement. The Selection results will be announced online via the KNB Scholarship Website and officially announced through the Indonesian Embassy publication network
Online application must be submitted not later than 30th April 2018.

The Ministry of Education, Kenya is not receiving hard copies of the applications.
