Indepth Research Institute Fire And Safety Consultant Trainers - Mombasa Jobs in Kenya ; The trainer/facilitator will develop and deliver high-impact training and workshops in Fire and Safety that engage clients, meet their learning objectives, and contribute to the program's overall performance and targets. Additionally, the trainer/facilitator will continuously review workshop practices to maximize client participation, satisfaction, and success.

The Fire and Safety Trainer/Facilitator will develop and deliver high-impact training and workshops in fire prevention, emergency response, risk management, and workplace safety. The ideal candidate will engage clients through dynamic, practical training that meets learning objectives and contributes to the overall performance and success of the program. The trainer will also ensure training content is up to date with industry standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

*Design and Deliver Training: Develop and conduct interactive fire and safety training sessions, workshops, and simulations for corporate, industrial, and public sector clients.

*Emergency Response Preparedness: Train participants on fire prevention, risk assessment, first aid, and evacuation procedures.

*Customized Learning Approaches: Use case studies, hands-on exercises, demonstrations, and group discussions to enhance learning.

*Compliance and Industry Standards: Ensure all training aligns with international safety standards such as NFPA, OSHA, ISO 45001, and local fire safety regulations.

*Training Materials Development: Create training manuals, presentations, and handbooks tailored to different industries.

*Workshop Facilitation: Conduct in-person and virtual fire and safety workshops, ensuring high participant engagement.

*Post-Training Evaluations: Collect and analyze participant feedback to improve course content and delivery.

*Liaison with IRES: Work closely with the Training Coordinator to ensure training meets IRES quality standards and client needs.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

*A bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Fire Science, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), Engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree is an added advantage.

*5+ years of professional experience in fire safety, emergency response, workplace safety training, or risk management.

*Certifications in Fire & Safety (e.g., NFPA, NEBOSH Fire Safety, IOSH, OSHA Fire Protection, or relevant industry certifications).

*Proven experience in corporate safety training and facilitating adult learning workshops.

*Hands-on experience with fire safety equipment, fire drills, and emergency response planning.

*Familiarity with legal and regulatory compliance related to fire safety and risk management.

*Excellent communication and facilitation skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.

*Strong organizational and adaptability skills to tailor training based on industry-specific needs.
