Job Duties and Responsibilities
Take the lead in the planning and coordinating program conferences, trainings and events.
Ensure that delegates and staff submit regular, timely and accurate narrative monthly reports, including providing appropriate training and capacity building of all staff and delegates to fulfil their responsibility for reporting, and to ensure high quality products.
Collate workplan progress and M&E documentation for CP3 countries; and flag issues at the country level as well as to regional team.
Documentation of lessons learned and best practices; editorial and presentation assistance for country teams to create dissemination materials;
Assist with editing and production of information, communication and education (IEC) materials, and support country staff in making relevant contextual adaptations.
Manage data by maintaining regional database, housing monthly data reported by CP3 countries
Travel as needed to support regional trainings or conferences
Accountable for providing professional administrative expertise and support to the CP3 team
Collects, compiles and administrates the necessary documents for meetings and mission travel of the CP3 project.
Assist in the writing, editing and proofreading of reports and documents prepared by CP3 delegates
Follow up on asset register in all CP3 countries and make sure that the update is shared with the regional roving finance delegate for each trimester.
Responsible of CP3 archives
Perform other duties and participate in special projects as assigned by the line manager.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in social science,
public health, or any relevant degree.
Experience
At least 2 years’ experience working to support health programs in the development or humanitarian sector.
Experience in budget preparation.
Experience with international donor or Red Cross reporting systems.
Experience adapting or using IEC and communication material.
Strong interest in humanitarian and development work.
Experience in organizing trainings, workshops, and conferences, at both international and national levels.
Experience with data consolidation and database use.
Experience supporting country staff by distance.
Experience in researching, compiling, writing of narrative and financial reports.
Knowledge of IFRC and/or National Society operating environment.
Knowledge, skills and languages
Excellent computer skills. (e.g. Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat).
Strong operational management ability: a clear focus on results, monitors quality and progress of work against plans.
Data analysis skills (Excel or other technical software (Epi Info, SPSS, Stata)).
Ability to travel frequently.
Excellent organisational, and inter-personal skills.
Able to work on own initiative and solve problems.
