We are looking to fill the following position immediately

Purpose

The successful candidate works under limited supervision, both independently and within a team environment. Responsibilities include managing multiple onetime and/or ongoing projects.

Position is made up of multiple high priority tasks causing the incumbent to use discretion and judgment in organizing workflow and adapting as priorities are modified due to the changing environment.

Frequent internal contact with employees at all levels of the organization; frequent external contact with vendors.

Scope of Responsibilities

The roles and responsibilities of ITF Engineer are the following, but not limited;

Performs maintenance and service repairs on critical Data Center systems (UPS, PDU, Diesel Generators, ATS equipment and Building Controls, ETC), as well as all industrial electrical equipment and systems that include power distribution components/wiring, electronic components and lighting systems throughout the data center campus, to ensure efficient operation and adherence with relevant codes.

Reads

and reviews blueprints, floor plans, wiring diagrams and job specifications to determine best method of installing electrical infrastructure.

Prepares and presents estimates of cost of parts, equipment, and supplies of proposed installation or repairs.

Operate and inspect emergency power generation and reliability equipment; determining systems are functioning properly and that maintenance is performed in accordance with original manufacturer’s recommendations.

Installs new units or replacement parts for existing units according to specifications and established safety guidelines, relies on instructions and preestablished guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

During staff shifts, schedule, coordinate, and oversee all maintenance vendors during maintenance and break/fix events to ensure personnel safety, protect the Facility’s critical equipment, and maintain power to the critical load.

Participates in the preparation of analyses and reports on the data center infrastructure.

Maintains a strong technical knowledge of electronic controls, power distribution, microprocessor control systems, and environmental control equipment (HVAC and air conditioning).

Provide stand-by and emergency maintenance on an as-needed basis.

Responds to safety and emergency situations for Facilities Services and maintain a safe and secure work environment.

Perform other services determined necessary to maintain and operate all mission critical related infrastructure in an approved manner.

Job Requirements

Education & qualification:

Minimum one years of “hands on” maintenance and repair experience with industrial electrical systems in mission-critical facilities; emergency generators (Generators, Fuel Delivery systems and Parallel Switchgear), electrical distribution critical and essential PDU's, UPS, switchgear, HVAC, air handling units, cooling systems, and building monitoring/control systems.

Minimum of Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical engineering or related fields with at least 1 years’ work
CCNA Routing and Switching highly advantageous

Excellent computer, office applications, Ms. Words, PPT, Excel and email skills

Excellent written and oral communication skill

Familiarity with design software, such as Autodesk/Auto Cad, Civil 3D
