Description

Our client, IDB Capital Limited, a Development Finance Institution is a State Corporation under the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Co-operatives established by the Government of Kenya in 1973.

Its mandate is to further economic development of Kenya by assisting in the promotion, establishment, expansion and modernization of medium and large industrial enterprises. They wish to recruit an Assistant Accountant.

Key Responsibilities:

Payments processing

Receipting

Payroll processing and reconciliations

Petty cash processing

Imprest processing

Preparation of cash position

Treasury Management

Bank reconciliations

Assets Register maintenance and reconciliation

Ensuring timely payment of statutory payments

Preparation of auditors schedules

Any other duties as assigned from time to time by the supervisor.

Person Profile:

Academic

University degree in Accounting

Professional Qualification

CPA /ACCA

Skills

Technical

Analytical skills

Computer literacy

General

Team player

Experience

Minimum 2 years relevant experience
