Introduction

IDB Capital Limited, a Development Finance Institution is a State Corporation under the Ministry of Industry, Trade & Cooperatives established by the Government of Kenya in 1973. Its mandate is to further economic development of Kenya by assisting in the promotion, establishment, expansion and modernization of medium and large industrial enterprises.

Responsibilities

Strategize and Plan

Manage Stakeholder relations

Mobilize financial resources

Coordinate corporate communication activities

Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs and arrange business meetings

Resource Mobilization – developing, implementing and monitoring fund raising strategies, that includes yearly targets to meet the current and future clients loans needs

Promote the company’s products / services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives

Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers

Coordinate Development of Corporate Strategy

Develop and Manage budgets

pprove expenditures, petty cash and imprest

Provides over site for all the departmental physical assets

Plans departmental work

Work with other heads of functions

Makes strategic, operational and financial decisions

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a Business related field.

Be a member to a relevant professional body

An MBA is an added advantage

At least 5 years of relevant experience.
