One of our clients in integrative communication and public relations is looking to fill the following position: ICT Manager
Principal Accountabilities:
Ensure management of the Group’s ICT infrastructure including planning, maintenance, and sourcing in line with the company’s needs;
Demonstrate ownership of and communicate the ICT strategic direction and objectives to all staff to promote employee engagement and productivity;
Oversee administration of ICT applications across all operations and ensure ease of access and use of the applications in order to enhance service delivery;
Lead implementation of all IT projects to ensure innovations meet the Group’s technology advancement appetite and value for money;
Liaise with equipment & service providers to establish Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for ICT system vendors;
Formulate and enforce ICT policies, rules, regulations, and procedures;
Undertake vendor relationship management for suppliers of ICT products and services;
Ensure efficient and effective user support and adequate support for the systems in place to all departments;
Put in place disaster management protocols and business continuity processes and infrastructure to ensure business continuity for the Group’s operations;
Prepare the ICT annual budget and monitor its implementation upon approval to ensure cost containment and value for money;
Formulate appropriate database administration, data backups, and
recovery procedures;
Implement well-coordinated ICT systems with adequate controls within the Group;
Ensure effective and efficient use of ICT resources within the organization and related businesses;
Manage procurement of ICT related products and services;
Identify, deploy and motivate the ICT team including performance appraisal, and identification of training needs.
Qualifications, Experience, and Knowledge:
Bachelor’s Degree in Information and Communication Technology, Computer Science, or any other related ICT field from a recognized university.
At least seven (7) years of relevant experience, three (3) of which must be in a supervisory role in a professional service firm.
Working knowledge in computerized information systems;
Professional IT certifications in any of the following: Cisco, Oracle, CISA or any other similar certifications are an added advantage; and
Experience in computer programming and ICT system audits.
