ICT Authority ICT Officer Jobs Kenya


The officer will be responsible to the PMO.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise implementation of critical ICT projects and initiatives in the region according to approved Governance Framework and standards,
  • Coordinate the Digital Literacy Programme and other key ICT projects and initiatives at regional level
  • Supervise the Authority’s officers deployed in the counties within the Region
  • Supervise the operations of DLP support and WEEE Centres within their regions
  • Monitor the adherence to Service Level
  • Agreements by service providers for common ICT infrastructure and applications at regional and county levels
  • Supervise implementation of programmes that promote ICT literacy,capacity building, innovations and e-Government Services.
  • Report on the status of ICT programmes, projects and other initiatives in the region
  • Represent ICTA in National Government Regional Meetings

    Requirements

  • Bachelors’ Degree in Computer Science, Projects, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Communication Technology, Electronics and Telecommunication or in any other ICT related discipline from a recognized institution
  • At least three (3) years relevant work experience
  • Strong Supervisory and Coordination skills
    Membership to a relevant professional body
  • Problem solving skills
  • Meets the provision of Chapter Six of the Constitution
