ICRHK Study Coordinator Jobs in Mombasa, Kenya



he International Centre for Reproductive Health – Kenya (ICRHK) works in the area of sexual and reproductive health research and program implementation including sexual and gender based violence.

The sexual violence against children measurement study (SVaC study) is a cross-sectional study to measure the baseline prevalence of sexual violence among school-going children and the community attitudes and views about sexual violence in four counties in Kenya.

Amplify Change Project seeks to increase awareness and sexual violence response among the community in Mombasa.

This position will be based in Mombasa.

Requirements:

  • A degree in law (preferable). Alternatively, a degree in social studies, public health or health related discipline.
  • At least 3 years’ experience in an NGO setting or research setting
  • Knowledge of Gender Based Violence issues
  • Excellent skills in research, writing and presentation
  • Experience in advocacy, community mobilization and community development.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Access, Outlook, and Excel)
  • At least one publication in a peer reviewed journal
  • At least one presentation in an international conference (either poster or oral)
  • Previous experience in leading a
    research project including developing questionnaires, Case Report Forms (CRFs), Consent Forms etc.
  • Skills in analysis of quantitative or qualitative data
