Established in 1959, the Kenyan Section of the International Commission of Jurists (ICJ Kenya) is a non-partisan, nongovernmental organization with a membership base drawn from the Bar and Bench.
The primary Mission of the organization is to promote and protect human rights, justice and democracy in Kenya and around Africa through the application of legal expertise and international best practices.
ICJ Kenya has distinguished itself as legal organization with a consistent tract record of well-informed advocacy and research and is today widely acknowledged as a leading human rights organization in Kenya and around Africa.
ICJ Kenya seeks to fill two vacant positions as detailed below and invites suitably qualified Kenyans to apply:
Job Title
Under the overall guidance of the Executive Director and direct supervision of the Deputy Executive Director, the Programme Manager will provide leadership in the management, implementation and fundraising of activities within the programme, to further the programmatic strategic objective which is to promote justice for international crimes and gross human rights violations in Kenya and across Africa and contribute to the development of organizational goals and objectives.

Under the direct supervision of the Programme Manager, the Programme Officer will offer support in the conceptualization of programme ideas, fundraising, planning, implementation and reporting of the programme activities in an efficient and timely manner.
