Position Summary The incumbent will collaborate with the HIV Counsellor/Nurse and the Site Coordinator to facilitate effective referral of survey participants requiring linkage to HIV &STI continuum of care as part of survey procedures and participant needs.
Major Accountabilities
Facilitate escorted referrals for survey participations to preferred facilities to access
appropriate health services
Facilitate linkages with appropriate organizations for appropriate service and support.
Distribute prevention materials to the survey participants,
Observe and record outcomes and report to the Site Coordinator.
Knowing established work and administrative procedures
Communicate effectively, clearly, and concisely with others and consistently demonstrate
a positive/proactive service attitude towards all survey participants.
Consistently maintain ethical behaviors exemplary of quality public service and fair
standards, inclusively, and among all employees and members of the public.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Knowledge of and practical experience working with key populations preferred.
Possess the ability to work flexible and extended hours.
Have the ability to interact effectively and professionally with persons from diverse cultural,
socioeconomic, education, racial, ethnic and professional backgrounds.
Possess a strong desire to make a positive impact in the lives of others.
Required Qualifications
Full Grade 12 Certificate.
Certificate or Diploma in any related field.
