Position Summary The incumbent will support data collection tasks related to the survey, including management of
coupons at the survey site.
Major Accountabilities
Verifies eligibility of participants who present to the survey site,
Issues coupons to the participant.
Explains the peer driven recruitment using coupons.
Register, verify and manage survey coupons using an Excel-based management tool,
Administer verbal informed consent and obtain consent from eligible participants,
Identify and report adverse event(s) to the Site Coordinator,
Ensure high quality data and ethical and moral conduct to collect accurate and valid
information,
Safeguard assigned data collection equipment, keeping it in good working condition and
charged, ready for data collection,
Maintain high levels of confidentiality throughout the survey,
Carry out other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Detail oriented and highly organized, able to multi-task.
Ability to adapt and work with diverse groups of people.
Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
Fluency in English and one or more local languages (e.g. Silozi, Chitonga, Chinyanja,
Kikaonde and Cibemba)
Knowledge of and practical experience working with key populations preferred.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of a full Grade 12 certificate or its equivalent.
A Diploma or Degree in Social Sciences or any related field
2-3 years of experience in conducting social and/or health research or surveys.
