Assistant Director Engineering

The Assistant Director of Engineering is responsible for the oversight of the operation of the hotel, reporting to the Director of Engineering.

Responsibilities include oversight of the inside as well as the outside of the building. This person must be knowledgeable in the following systems: HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical & distribution, energy management/BAS and preventive maintenance systems. Candidate should have experience in scheduling and managing service vendors and coordinating repairs.

Qualifications

Ideally with a university degree or diploma in in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering and/or Building Management.

Minimum 5 years work experience as Assistant Director of Engineering, or Engineering Manager.

Good problem solving, administrative and interpersonal skills are a must.
