Human Capital Synergies Africa HR Business Partner Jobs in Kenya
ResponsibilitiesSupporting and advising the Head of HR and Business Units on the opportunities for improvement of employee relations at the respective hubs; including travelling to the hub regions.
Champion and enforce labor laws as constituted within the country and the company’s Policies.
Interpretation of the policies and procedures and assess compliance by all employees within the business unit. (Advise managers and employees on disciplinary issues and procedures).
Enhance two-way communication within the business unit by ensuring that employees and other stakeholders are informed of what is happening, why it is happening and how it affects them.
Ensure smooth termination process for employees, resignations and negotiated terminations as peremployment act and the company’s exit process.
Ensure fair implementation of all company’s policies and procedures.
In liaison with business unit heads, ensure that leave plans are in place and are adhered to and that Leave Liability is managed.
Manage & and act as a liaison for employee welfare services; employee Insurance, Medical, Pension.
Responsible for payroll & leave management.
Responsible for following up timely submission of all statutory deduction to the relevant bodies.
Facilitate development, monitoring, review & report of HR risk management plan.
Facilitate development, monitoring, review & report of HR compliance matrix.
Develop, implement and monitoring HR the budget and set timelines.
Responsible for process excellence initiatives in HR functions.
Relationship Building and HR Branding
Frequently support and advice on Human Resources challenges and issues facing the business units in the respective hubs.
Qualifications
Degree in Human Resources Management or a business related field.
Post graduate or diploma in Human Resource Management
Professional Membership (IHRM Membership).
Six years’ experience in a busy HR environment.
2 Years of which in a HR Generalist role.

Responsibilities
Governance/Board Support: Provide support to the
Board in offering effective oversight in the governance of in order to ensure systematic functioning of the organization:
Schedule, prepare and avail accurate and timely reports, minutes and other documents for Board Audit Committee meetings
Conduct periodic awareness/training sessions to sensitize senior management, staff on their roles in implementation of policy and risk management, promoting an internal audit culture across the organization.
Regularly provide senior management and the board with an opinion on the adequacy, effectiveness and efficiency of the internal controls in the organization
Regularly report to the Board on significant areas of non-compliance to organizational policy or internal controls
Actively monitor and provide feedback to senior management and the board as appropriate on the timely implementation of management or board recommendations of fraud prevention measures.
Carry out reviews to ascertain that a conflict of interest policy exists.
Regular review the conflict of interest policy to ascertain its adequacy and also assess the compliance
Qualifications
Master’s degree in relevant area such as Commerce, Finance or Accounting;
Must be a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya CPA (K) or Association of Chartered Certified Accountants of the United Kingdom (ACCA); and a member of a recognized accounting and audit professional body;
Minimum of three (3) years of managerial experience;
Proficient in Microsoft NAV dynamics software.
minimum of five years of Internal Audit experience in a reputable organization
Detailed knowledge of audit procedures, including planning, techniques, test and sampling methods
