A dynamic individual to complement our already passionate team. The ideal candidate must understand both the SMME sector including entrepreneurship and mid-size business growth as well as the corporate value chain including enterprise and supplier development.

Who are you?

You have an understanding of the entrepreneurial, SMME supplier development ecosystem

You have a clear understanding of the amended B-BBEE codes and their direct impact on enterprise & supplier development

You have an understanding of business landscape with specific reference to the target market

You have executive presence

You are an authentic and engaging communicator with strong presentation skills

You have the ability to work well within a small team

What’s the role?

You will be responsible for:

Establish and build trust, maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle through to closure

Develop and manage relationships within Enterprise & Supplier Development, Procurement and Transformation departments

Identify and understand our clients’ business challenges, needs and aspirations in socio-economic, enterprise and supplier development and be able to articulate these challenges

Collaborate with the team to develop solutions for our clients

Plan, develop & own the relationships with key accounts to identify opportunities

and strategies to win new or further business from these customers

Manage the sales pipeline and the commercial impact of sales on the overall financial position of the company

Represent the company brand in the market via speaker, point of view development and networking events to identify new leads and strategic partners for the company

Matric

Relevant Tertiary Qualification

5+ years of sales and commercial experience including maintaining a sales pipeline, forecast and financial reporting

Computer literacy including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel - essential

Intercultural awareness and experience

Experience working in or with multi-national organisations
