Hotel Head Housekeeper Jobs in Naivasha, Kenya
An upcoming hotel based in Naivasha, seeks to hire a highly competent, self-driven and result oriented Head Housekeeper.
Responsibilities
Maintain high quality housekeeping standards established and ensure guests’ expectations are exceeded
Organize, supervise and coordinate the work of housekeeping staff on a day-to-day basis.
Establish and maintain standard operating procedures for cleaning and develop new procedures to increase efficiency of labour and product use.
Maintain regular inventory and checking of furniture, linen, uniform, equipment in the hotel.
Ensure excellence in housekeeping sanitation, safety and comfort of guests.
Prepare monthly and weekly reports-for the section.
Requirements
Certificate from a recognised in Hospitality Management institution. A Diploma or degree is an added advantage.
Minimum of four (4) years’ experience in housekeeping role, two (2) of which should be at the level of Housekeeping supervisor in a busy establishment.
Excellent skills in people management, teamwork, interpersonal relations, organisation and communication.
